Visits are allowed from 9.00 AM till 1.00 PM, then from 3.00 PM till 8.00 PM
Visits in Intensive Care Unit are allowed from 11.00 AM till 12.00 PM, then from 5.00 PM till 6.00 PM
- Pregnant women who passed their seventh month of pregnancy are not allowed to be the patient’s attendant
- The hospital’s direction allows the presence of only one attendant for medical and sometimes social reasons
- Children and babies are not allowed to stay with the attendants
- It’s advisable to let the child’s attendant be his mother, his grandmother, or a female in loco parentis
- Attendants are not allowed in isolation chambers and intensive care units
- The attendant should be in good health and above 18 years
- Attendants are not allowed to stay with newborns
- The attendant should always stay with the patient, and shouldn’t be wandering in the department
- Attendants are not allowed to take the patient outside his room without the nurse’s permission
- The attendant should leave the room in case moving the patient to the intensive care unit
- The attendant is not allowed to keep his things around and under the patient’s bed to avoid obstructing the patient or the medical staff
- The attendant should take into consideration sleeping time in the department as well as the patient’s need for comfort
- Smoking is not allowed in all sections of the hospital
- The attendant should immediately inform the nursing staff in case the patient falls down
- People who have cold, respiratory infection symptoms, or any other contagious disease should not do visits
- The attendant is advised to repeatedly wash his hands to avoid the spread of infection
- Children under 12 years are not allowed to do visits except in very special conditions
- The attendant should ask for help if he wants to change the patient’s bed position
- Cell phones are not allowed in areas of sensitive medical equipments
- Visitors should respect the patient’s privacy and exit the room when the patient receives the treatment
- It’s not allowed at all when staying with the patient to freely walk inside the hospital to respect other patients’ privacy
- It’s allowed for two visitors to exist together in the patient’s room. The patient has also the right to specify the number of allowed visitors and even prevent any visit
- It’s strictly not allowed for the attendant to lay beside the patient to avoid the fall of one of them
- When visiting a patient under medical isolation, it’s important to follow the nursing instructions when it comes to dealing with the patient
